Rookie group CORTIS has cleared a major sales milestone. The act’s second mini-album, “GREENGREEN,” has now sold more than 3 million copies, label BIGHIT MUSIC announced on July 23 — making it only the second album released in South Korea this year to reach “triple-million seller” status.
3 million copies in just 11 weeks
Per Circle Chart’s most recent weekly album ranking, covering July 12–18, “GREENGREEN” has sold a cumulative 3,099,000 copies. The album arrived on May 4, 2026, meaning it reached the three-million mark only 11 weeks after release — an unusually fast climb for a group still early in its career.
The result places CORTIS second among all Korean albums released in 2026 to go triple-million, trailing only BTS’ fifth studio album “ARIRANG.” Joining that short list puts the rookies in rare company at the very top of this year’s domestic sales race.
“REDRED” keeps CORTIS near the top of the charts
The momentum isn’t limited to physical sales. The mini-album’s title track, “REDRED,” has held a spot in the upper tier of major domestic streaming charts, including Melon, keeping the group in steady rotation weeks after release. “GREENGREEN” has also registered internationally, appearing on the latest Billboard 200 at No. 132.
A North American tour is next
CORTIS will carry that momentum overseas with its “Put Your Phone Down” tour, playing six cities — including Toronto and San Francisco — from August 4 to 16 (local time). The run gives the group its first major stretch of international dates as its debut era continues to build.
Why it matters
Reaching triple-million sales this early is a marker usually reserved for K-pop’s most established names. For CORTIS to hit it with only a second mini-album — and to sit behind only BTS among 2026 releases — signals the group as one of the fastest-rising acts to emerge this year.
